Clermont Chorale Tune up for Trip to St. Petersburg

The Clermont Chorale is a 30 member Chamber Choir based in Dundalk, Ireland and includes soloists, instrumentalist and music teachers among its handpicked members.

The Clermont Chorale’s weeklong tour will also include concerts in the St. Petersburg Art School and the Sestroretsk sanatorium. The main event will be in St Catherine Cathedral, Nevsky Prospect, St. Petersburg, on Sunday, 29th of October, at 3pm. The Programme …will include choral and organ music by Russian, Irish and International composers.

Samhain 2017

Samhain 2017 invites all Irish traditional music and dance lovers to a variety of lively festive events at major Moscow venues. The Irish band Four Winds will headline the festival at the Glastonberry Pub on Saturday, 28 October.

At their solo concert in the Central House of Artists, on Sunday, 29 October, the band will be accompanied by an invigorating display of Irish dancing by Moscow’s leading companies and solo dancers.

Irish Dance Company 'Teac Damsa' to perform critically acclaimed version of 'Swan Lake / Loch na hEala' in Moscow on the 10/11th of October in Театр Наций (Theatre of Nations)

From the imagination of one of Ireland’s foremost dance and theatre-makers comes a magical new adaptation of one of the most famous story ballets in the world, Swan Lake. With beautiful dancing and powerful imagery, this new Swan Lake is rooted in the Midlands of Ireland in a place where ancient mythol…ogy and the modern world collide. Performed by a company of fourteen world-class performers including actor Mikel Murfi, this production is interwoven with storytelling, song and live music. Dublin based band Slow Moving Clouds have created a new score which combines roots in Nordic and Irish traditional music with minimalist and experimental influences.

The 10th Russian National Irish Dance Championships and Feis will take place on 30 September and 01 October.

Kaliningrad Street Food

Mark Murphy from Dingle Cookery School will speak on Wednesday, 30th of August in Kaliningrad at the International forum "Gastronomy Tourism and Street Food" and the Festival Kaliningrad Street Food Weekend (which is organized by the Government of the Kaliningrad region, the International Centre of Wine and Gastronomy, the Russian National Culinary Association and the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia. The forum is supported by the Wo…rld Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism). Mark will do master class of Irish cuisine on weekend of 2nd and 3rd of September, during the festival.
